Khiva, Caravanning city still enclosed by the mighty walls of clay, Bukhara, ancient religious and cultural center and Samarkand, legendary capital of the Empire of Timur.
A place so fascinating to let Alexander "The Great" say: "Everything I have heard about Marakanda is true, except that it is more beautiful than I imagined".
Three cities entered the UNESCO World Heritage list for their historic centers to be discovered with a tour that crosses the entire country, cradle of various civilizations.
A land that knew its greatest splendor during the golden age of the Silk Road.
It was annexed by Tsarist Russia, and later by the Soviet Empire, and became independent in recent times with the dissolution of the USSR.
Today it is an open-air museum with fortresses, mosques and royal palaces, telling of its ancient splendor.

PROGRAM

DAY 1
Departure from Milan Malpensa in the evening and arrival in Tashkent in the morning.
Depending on availability, it is also possible to depart from Rome Fiumicino Airport at no extra charge and having the airport assistance service available. For departures from other Italian airports, subject to availability, there is always a surcharge.

DAY 2
Upon arrival at the airport, after processing customs, meeting with our correspondent and private transfer to the hotel for a few hours rest after the trip.
The rooms will be immediately available for 3-4 hours of rest before starting visits and breakfast is provided. In the late morning, we then begin visits to Tashkent. Quick lunch during the visit.
In the late afternoon transfer to the train station and departure with the fast train "Afrosiab" to Samarkand in business class.
Packed dinner on board the train.
Upon arrival, private transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.
Upon request you could have the possibility to have an evening walk with a tour leader to admire Samarkand.

DAY 3
Breakfast and day entirely dedicated to the discovery of this legendary city.
Mirror of the World, Garden of the Soul, Jewel of Islam, Pearl of the East, Center of the Universe.
Dinner in local restaurant, overnight in hotel.

DAY 4
Early breakfast and departure in the morning by minibus to Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of Tamerlano.
Tamerlano was born in 1336 in the village of Kesh; he never forgot it and, having come to power, transformed it into a monumental city, whose fame competed with that of nearby Samarkand.
Lunch in local restaurant.
We continue by car then to the village of Langar Ota (130 km from Samarkand), located in the Hissar region.
Return in the evening to Samarkand, dinner in the restaurant and possibility of a last evening walk in Registan square.
Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 5
Breakfast and transfer to the station for the fast train to Bukhara.
Arrival in the morning and start of the city tours.
"If Samarkand is the wonder of the earth, Bukhara is the wonder of the spirit".
Lunch in the restaurant, special dinner in a beautiful house-museum with a culinary demonstration.
Return to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 6
Breakfast in the hotel and full day in Bukhara, with the continuation of the visits and in the second part of the afternoon a little free time to experience the magical atmosphere of the city also from another point of view.
Lunch in course of visits.
Free time in the second part of the afternoon (about two hours) with tour leaders available to deepen some visit or take the group to a typical Tea House in Bukhara, where you can sip a tea or herbal tea and then enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the city.
Dinner in local restaurants and overnight in the hotel.

DAY 7
After breakfast we have a busy day to reach the last caravan town of our trip and perhaps even the best preserved, although the consistent restorations change the atmosphere, in its architectural layout. This is Khiva.
Lunch is provided in local restaurants, packed or in a field tended on arrival in Ayaz Qala, depending on the actual arrival time.
Accommodation and dinner in the hotel with the possibility of a first evening walk through the city.
Overnight in the hotel.

DAY 8
The day is entirely dedicated to the visit of Khiva.
Lunch and dinner in local restaurants, overnight in the hotel.

DAY 9
Breakfast (depending on departure time, in the hotel or in the bag) and private transfer to the international airport of Urgench for the return flight to Italy, with arrival in the afternoon.
