Putting yourself to the test with flour, eggs and rolling pin in a unique location such as the hotel's rock-hewn church and with the expert guidance of a Matera cook, means retracing the ancient art of making homemade pasta and rediscovering authentic recipes from Lucanian tradition: cavatelli, orecchiette and calzoni ripieni are just some of the typical dishes to be prepared and enjoyed at the end of the lesson during an exclusive candlelight dinner in the 13th-century rock-hewn church.
