The region of Gran Sasso, the pinnacle of transhumance, is famed for sheep rearing and for its enormous wool production. In the past, flocks from Abruzzo moved to Puglia in considerable numbers. That’s why you can participate in a wool-oriented experience. Following an introduction to the craft of weaving, you will learn the fundamental methods used in this age-old art form and create your own piece of native wool with the assistance of an expert.

The experience can only be booked in conjunction with the overnight stay.
