Irina Solinas is an eclectic and enterprising musician, a graduate of the Conservatorio 'G. Verdi' in Milan.
Chosen as first cello in the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, she has performed in the most important national and international theatres under the guidance of illustrious conductors, including Sir Jeffrey Tate and Riccardo Muti.
Her career as a composer and performer of music sees the emergence of valuable collaborations in harmony between the arts: the rich production of music for theatre with Stefano de Luca
(Piccolo Teatro di Milano), for dance with Emanuela Tagliavia (Accademia Teatro alla Scala di Milano) and for cinema with Matteo Curallo (Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera) in the successful collaboration between SkyArte and the Italian Ministry of Culture.
Irina Solinas is the creator and artistic director of MAME - Mediterranean Ambassadors Music Experience, an international network of excellence in music along the new
Silk Roads.
Her unique combination of classical training and avant-garde experience has led her to be one of the leading promoters of the musical movement internationally known as contemporary cultural crossover as Ambassador of Italian Musical Culture Abroad.
Finally, Irina is recognised as one of the best musicians of her generation internationally in the rare and difficult art of improvisation.
He regularly collaborates with the world's greatest artists in this field, including Sandeep Das, one of the world's top Indian Tabla performers and 2018 winner of the prestigious Grammy Award.
